Morocco's Olive Oil Revolution: Conquering America's East Coast Kitchens

Morocco Foodex is implementing a strategy to establish Moroccan olive oil in the booming American market.

A B2B mission planned in New York in March 2026 and a 3-month digital communication campaign on the East Coast (New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC). These are the actions that Morocco Foodex intends to carry out to promote Moroccan olive oil in the United States, to raise awareness among American players (importers, distributors, restaurateurs, chefs, influencers) about its assets, as a quality, authentic and sustainable product, in line with international certifications. It is also a question of facilitating the access of Moroccan exporters to the American market by promoting qualified meetings with potential partners, while strengthening the visibility of the product through targeted digital communication.

The B2B mission will take place in March 2026 in New York, says Le Matin. It will involve the participation of nearly 100 people, including Moroccan exporters and American buyers. On the agenda, planned business meetings, a plenary session as well as an exhibition space. Each participating Moroccan company will benefit from at least eight qualified appointments. A 5-week post-event follow-up will assess the impact of the exchanges, it is specified. As for the digital communication campaign targeting the American East Coast, it will rely in particular on online advertising and the management of the "Moroccan Olive Oil" social media accounts, with a calendar of creative publications (posts, stories, reels), but also on collaborations with American influencers specialized in "healthy lifestyle" and gastronomy.

This mission of Morocco Foodex (Autonomous Establishment for the Control and Coordination of Exports) will give a new impetus to Moroccan olive oil exports to a rapidly expanding American market.
