Morocco’s National Team to Unveil New Puma Jerseys in September

The equipment manufacturer Puma is actively preparing to make the new jerseys available to the African teams. Those of the Atlas Lions will be ready for September.
Puma is pulling out all the stops to provide the African teams with their new jerseys, even though the COVID-19 health crisis has put an end to many international competitions, including the 2021 CAN qualifiers that were supposed to take place in Cameroon.
According to Hespress, the German company will present "the new Puma 2020-2021 kits of the Moroccan national team for the Africa Cup of Nations in September." It will also unveil "the home jerseys of Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Ghana, Guinea Bissau and Togo."
Puma has become the equipment supplier of the Atlas Lions since September 2019, after signing a four-year contract with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). It thus replaces Adidas after the controversy that arose during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where the jerseys were deemed dull and very unimaginative, prompting the president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lakjaa, to terminate his contract with the sports giant.
