Morocco National Team Begins Training Camp for June Friendlies Against Ghana and Burkina Faso

The players summoned by Vahid Halilhodzic to the preparation camp for the two friendly matches on June 8 and 12 against Ghana and Burkina Faso are mostly present at the Mohammed VI Football Center in Maâmoura. Some like Achraf Hakimi will only join the group starting on Tuesday.
Chelsea’s European champion, Hakim Ziyech, will not arrive in Rabat until Tuesday. This is also the case for the players of Wydad and Raja who played matches of the Botola on Sunday against FUS de Rabat and AS FAR respectively, reports the daily Assabah, which points out that Vahid Halilhodzic has summoned six players from the two Casablanca clubs. These are Yahya Jabrane, Ayoub El Kaabi, Reda Tagnaouti and Imad El Amloud from WAC, as well as Anas Zniti and Soufiane Rahimi from Raja.
While waiting for these players to join the group, the training sessions start on Monday with the Moroccan striker from Sevilla FC, Youssef En-Nesyri, and his teammates Yassine Bono and Munir El Haddadi already on site. They will be joined by Ilias Chair (Queens Park Rangers), Nayef Aguerd (Stade Rennais), Adil Taarabt (Benfica), Zakaria Boukhlal (AZ Alkmaar), Jawad El Yamiq (Real Valladolid), Soufiane Chakla (Getafe), Soufiane Amrabat (Fiorentina), and Slim Amallah (Standard de Liège), also present at the Mohammed VI Football Center in Maâmoura.
As required by the current health protocol, all these players were welcomed by an administrative and medical staff for a Covid-19 screening test.
