Morocco’s National Team Adds English Coaches for Remote Training Program

As part of the distance training of the Atlas Lions, the National Technical Director, Osian Roberts, has recruited two English coaches.
The objective of this training, to which Moroccan coaches will be invited, is to instill a new philosophy in the national teams, during this period of national state of emergency, with the collaboration of the two new English coaches, Simon Jennings and Gerard Jones. It will also allow the adoption of a new approach and new fundamentals.
According to the daily Al Massae, this training will be done remotely via videoconference, this Thursday at 7 p.m. The courses will be given exclusively in French.
Even if the two English technicians speak French moderately, they have taken the trouble, in recent weeks, to translate the materials that will be distributed to the coaches. They will also be supported by the Moroccan cadre, Tarik Makhnass, in the translation.
The two new coaches, Simon Jennings and Gerad Jones, are respectively UEFA PRO and UEFA A licensed. If the former has already worked for the Aspire center in Qatar as well as within the Everton club, his colleague has benefited from some experiences in Italy and Norway.
