Morocco’s Moulay Idriss Zerhoun Named Among World’s Most Beautiful Villages by Travel Magazine

A Moroccan village is among the top 23 most beautiful in the world. This is the result of the ranking of an American specialized magazine.
Moulay Idriss Zerhoun (Morocco) ranks 14th in the ranking of the 23 most beautiful villages in the world, carried out by Travel + Leisure, the American magazine, a reference in tourism. Gordes (France) is elected the most beautiful village in the world. It owes the first place to its charm. "Gordes tends to be teeming with tourists during the summer months. But can we really blame the visitors who wish to immerse themselves in the magic of one of the most beautiful villages in France, if not the world?" writes the magazine.
Shirakawa-gō (Japan) rises to second place. It is followed by Giethoorn (Netherlands), Stephantsminda (Georgia), Oia (Greece), Cherrapunji (India), Guatapé (Colombia), Stowe, (Vermont), Ban Rak Thai (Thailand), Portofino (Italy), Grindelwald (Switzerland), Lake Placid (United States) and Bacalar (Mexico).
