Morocco motorcycle crash kills three Ouarzazate overnight tragedy
A tragic road accident involving two motorcycles claimed the lives of three people during the night of Saturday to Sunday in Ouarzazate. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy.
The tragedy unfolded shortly after midnight, around 0:30 a.m. A collision of rare violence occurred between two motorcycles on the road axis connecting the city center to the Tamassint area. The force of the impact left no chance for two of the victims, who succumbed to their serious injuries directly at the accident scene.

A third person was extracted from this pile of wreckage in critical condition. Emergency services proceeded with his urgent transfer to Sidi Hssain Ben Nasser provincial hospital. Despite the speed of care and resuscitation attempts deployed by medical teams, this injured person died upon arrival at the health facility.
Initial findings point to a loss of control linked to inappropriate speed. According to information reported by Al Aâmk newspaper, excessive speed would be among the main causes of this tragedy. Sources close to the case emphasize that "this painful event brings to the forefront the problem of motorcycle accidents and recklessness at the handlebars during the night".
