Morocco Modernizes Customs: New Online Refund System Streamlines Process

The Customs Administration now has new features in its "Automated Customs Network Base" (BADR) digitized system. It allows users to discreetly submit their refund requests and track their various requests online.
The BADR system of the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration (ADII) now allows online filing of refund requests. According to Challenge.ma, the ADII has just introduced this formula for refund requests made by users. These requests will now be filed online.
Thanks to this new service, the operator or his representative can create the refund request, cancel the request not yet processed and consult the requests already established, indicates the customs administration. According to them, these operators can easily follow the status and progress of their processing.
However, it recalls that refund requests can be made directly by the main beneficiary. In the event that they are made by forwarding agents, the Administration specifies that the latter must obligatorily mention the bank account number of the main beneficiary of the requested refund, it is indicated.
