Morocco Maintains Ample Butane Gas Supply Despite Regional Challenges

Morocco has sufficient stock to meet the national demand for butane gas. The supply to the market is ensured on a regular basis and under the best conditions.
This is what the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Leila Benali, said during the oral question period in parliament, specifying that the supply is ensured thanks to 16 importing companies operating in the different ports of the Kingdom.
The majority of the quantities of butane gas imported come from Europe and North America, with a share of more than 80%, the minister noted, adding that the filling of 3 kg, 6 kg and 12 kg cylinders is carried out in 130 centers, while distribution is provided by 680 distributors.
Currently, the national market has nearly 68 million gas cylinders. Which, for the minister, proves that there is no problem with the supply of this essential product for Moroccan households.
