Morocco: Luxury villas on the beach, corruption and demolition

The investigation aims to verify the authorizations and permits issued for these villas, as well as the origin of the funds used for their construction.

Demolition operations have already begun this week. Local authorities have notified the owners of the villas concerned and ordered their destruction. This action is part of a large-scale campaign to combat the illegal occupation of beaches and preserve the public maritime domain.
