Morocco Leads African Air Travel to France with 6.9 Million Passengers in 2019

Morocco ranks first in the ranking of passengers transported to France in 2019, in the Africa zone. In total, 6,899,109 people traveled by plane between France and the kingdom.
Morocco had the largest volume of passengers from Africa with France in 2019, with an increase of 11.2%, according to the latest figures from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC). In 2019, the airline Royal Air Maroc transported approximately 1,728,273 passengers, a decrease of 5%.
In total, 20.54 million passengers traveled on flights between France and Africa, representing an increase of 5.15%.
Morocco comes first with 6,899,109 passengers. Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt recorded 4,353,233 passengers and 3,457,172 and 639,096 passengers respectively.
