Morocco Launches Vehicle Fleet Renewal Program for Transport Professionals

In Morocco, road transport professionals who had filed their applications with the external services of the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water will soon be able to benefit from the vehicle fleet renewal program for the year 2020. The payment of premiums has already started.
The Abdelkader Amara department announced this news after the competent services of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform definitively approved the expenditure commitments for the premiums for the year 2019 and previous years, the ministry said in a statement.
The supervisory department has in this regard called on the professionals concerned to accelerate the filing of additional documents with the road transport service to which they had already submitted their files, so that the services of the National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) can pay the premiums as soon as possible, the same source said.
Depending on the type of premium granted, the additional file includes a receipt indicating the condition of the vehicle or the old vehicles with the approved crushing company, the original registration certificate of the vehicle or the old vehicles intended for renewal or scrapping, and a copy of the registration certificate of the vehicle acquired in case of benefit from the renewal premium, details the same source.
Thus, the professionals will be informed later of the conditions to benefit from the vehicle fleet renewal program for the year 2020 through another press release, adds the same source, recalling that NARSA has allocated an estimated budget of 153 MDH to this program for the year 2020.
