Morocco Launches Mobile Consular Services for Diaspora in Spain

A first in Spain where the mobile one-stop shop dedicated to Moroccans of the world has just been launched in several cities before no doubt being generalized in other European countries.
This initiative aimed at strengthening the administrative support of the Moroccan community residing abroad has been operational since yesterday and concerns all the cities hosting the general consulates of the Kingdom in Spain.
In addition to the Spanish capital, the launch of the mobile one-stop shop for Moroccans of the world was also given the same day in the cities of Tarragona (northeast), Almeria (south) and Valencia (east), according to a press release from the ministry delegate in charge of Moroccans residing abroad and Migration Affairs.
The One-Stop Shop is scheduled to stop this Saturday in Barcelona (northeast), Seville (south), and the islands of Majorca and Las Palmas, before being organized on Sunday in the cities of Bilbao (north), Girona (northeast) and Malaga (south), it is specified.
For the ministry, this program aims to improve the services provided to Moroccans residing abroad and is part of "the attention paid by King Mohammed VI to the members" of this community. It is structured, it is reported, around a series of meetings aimed at bringing administrative services closer to Moroccans in Spain and facilitating their access, as well as listening to them, guiding them and advising them on legal and judicial procedures related to various issues raised.
These meetings, which reflect a new strategic perspective and a participatory approach towards Moroccans of the world, are supervised by officials from the ministry, as well as from several national sectors and institutions concerned with the affairs of Moroccans residing abroad.
