Morocco Launches Major Bus Fleet Renewal Program to Enhance Public Transport Safety

The Ministry of Transport and Logistics announces the creation of two bus fleet renewal programs during the 2024, 2025 and 2026 fiscal years.
This is a program to renew vehicles for public passenger transport services by bus, as part of the "Safe Bus" program, and a program to renew the road transport fleet for public passenger transport services in rural areas and for road freight transport for third parties, specifies the department of Mohammed Abdeljalil.
These two programs will be launched this year via the electronic portal "tajdid-hadira.narsa.gov.ma", the National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) said in a press release. It will specify that this launch will take place in two phases: first, the opening from Monday, July 22 of registrations on the platform for the benefit of companies wishing to benefit from these two programs and not having an active account, then the reception from Monday, July 29 of applications.
All applications filed via the platform before July 29 and not having received a premium commitment are considered null and void, NARSA points out. As a result, the persons concerned must submit new applications on this subject via the same portal. The agency then invites professionals wishing to benefit from these two programs to consult the approved procedures for their implementation via the same electronic platform "tajdid-hadira.narsa.gov.ma", starting from July 22.
NARSA also assures that its competent services and those of road transport under the Ministry of Transport and Logistics remain available to support professionals in order to ensure the successful implementation of these programs.
