Morocco Launches Initiative to Boost Investment from Belgian-Based Entrepreneurs

The Moroccan authorities are listening to entrepreneurs based in Belgium. This Monday, the delegated minister in charge of Moroccans residing abroad announced that the first beneficiaries of the Maghrib Belgium Impulse (MBI) project will receive all the necessary support provided for in the framework of this initiative dear to the two countries.
According to the press release from the ministry, practical training and coaching sessions provided by entrepreneurship professionals, as well as many networking opportunities with other experts active in Morocco are intended for Moroccans living abroad who wish to undertake in complete safety. The mobilization campaign launched for this purpose aims to reassure all holders of viable projects.
The MBI project is designed to sustainably mobilize the economic skills of Moroccans residing in Belgium by providing the selected entrepreneurs with support for the consolidation and acceleration of their projects in Morocco, through a personalized support plan. Thus, the 40 promising project leaders will be supported, the ministry reassures.
The virtual event allowed participants to explore the economic opportunities offered by different regions of Morocco and the available resources, in terms of investment and grants. Through this session, the kingdom once again shows, it is said, the interest it has in Moroccans living abroad who constitute an important link in the national economy. This is why, the press release recalls, they have a special place in the government’s comprehensive and integrated policy.
