Morocco Launches Investment Program to Attract Belgian-Moroccan Entrepreneurs

Morocco proceeded on Monday, in the city of Antwerp, to the launch of the second edition of the "Maghrib Belgium Impulse" (MBI) program, a program designed to encourage Moroccans living in Belgium to take an interest in business opportunities in Moroccan regions.
On the menu of this second phase, four new events entitled "Entrepreneurship in Morocco". The four events, which will take place in Antwerp on November 15 and 18, Brussels on November 16 and Liège on November 19, will present in detail investment in Morocco to interested Moroccans living in Belgium, according to the MAP.
The objective of this initiative led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the employers’ organization is to sustainably mobilize the skills of Moroccans in Belgium by supporting productive investments to contribute to the development of the Kingdom.
In his speech, the Moroccan Ambassador to Belgium, Mohamed Ameur, stressed the importance of this project, which is likely to make available to the various Belgo-Moroccan economic operators the necessary information to facilitate their investment projects in all regions of the Kingdom.
For his part, the president of Moroccan Entrepreneurs of the World (MeM), indicated that "at the level of the CGEM, we are supporting this project with events organized in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia in order to allow all economic actors in these three Belgian regions to express themselves and be informed about the various investment opportunities in Morocco".
