Morocco Launches ’Forsa’ Program: 2,000 Dirham Aid for Youth, 400 for Elderly

Starting in 2022, the government will honor its promise to provide the elderly with a 400 DH allowance and 2,000 DH to young people for work and services.
The executive announced that its support program will become a reality, specifying that this measure provided for in the 2022 Finance Act will make it possible to support the elderly affected by the Covid-19 crisis and the unemployed to cope with poverty.
Speaking during the "Meeting with the Press" program, the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, announced that all of this is included in a program called "Forsa" (chance) which will, in particular, grant interest-free loans to young people so that they can carry out feasibility studies for their projects.
In the same vein, the minister continued, the government has decided to increase the budget of the Compensation Fund and has canceled customs duties on wheat imports in order to maintain price stability.
