Morocco Allocates 3 Billion Dirhams to Boost Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship

The Moroccan government has announced that a budget of 3 billion DH will be allocated to employment and entrepreneurship initiatives for the year 2022.
At the end of the meeting with the Wali of the Souss-Massa Region, Ahmed Hajji, the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, stated that "funds are dedicated to urgent initiatives aimed at employment for the benefit of young people and the promotion of business creation".
In this wake, the minister has undertaken consultations to enhance regional and local initiatives in terms of employment and entrepreneurship. These initiatives encouraging employment and entrepreneurship, he specified, will be implemented in coordination with the various stakeholders concerned, highlighting in this sense the various job offers offered by the Souss-Massa region.
For this program, the financing will be granted as a priority to people affected by the impacts of the health crisis related to the Covid-19 pandemic, in particular young people, Sekkouri stressed.
