Morocco Launches Digital Platform for Expat Services and Government Correspondence

The Delegate Ministry to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Moroccans Residing Abroad announced on Thursday to all citizens, businesses and public administrations the adoption of the new digital platform, Digital Registry Office, in all its correspondence.
Given the state of health emergency and the containment measures, the ministry has chosen to adopt the digital tool to limit physical exchanges and electronically manage the flow of incoming and outgoing mail.
Citizens, businesses and public bodies will be able to send their emails to the ministry, with acknowledgment of receipt, via the portal: courrier.gov.ma/virtualbo/
The ministry has also adopted the Electronic Parapheur, which allows the dematerialization of documentary flows requiring probative value. The platform, accessible from the link courrier.gov.ma/parapheur, integrates workflow management and electronic signature functionalities.
These new provisions, the press release specifies, allow the ministry, in general, to strengthen its adherence to the digitization process of services for Moroccans residing abroad, and to initiate the modernization of the administration.
