Morocco Launches Campaign to Boost Tourism from Expatriates

A communication campaign was launched on Wednesday by the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) aimed at encouraging travelers, especially Moroccans living abroad (MREs), to explore and discover more of the wealth of their country.
The charm operation carried out under the "Ntla9aw fbladna" label aims to strengthen the strong and historical ties that the Moroccan community living abroad maintains with its country of origin. It also aims to strengthen the Kingdom as the preferred destination for MREs, according to an ONMT press release.
The first phase of the "Ntla9awfbladna" operation which will end at the end of July 2021, is broadcast in Arabic, Tamazight, Tarifit and Tachelhit, on national television channels. The offensive will also be declined on all the communication media most popular with the Moroccan community abroad.
"Centered around a strong promise, the ONMT campaign dedicated to the Moroccan community living abroad exposes Morocco in all its splendor, through the different immersive and unique experiences offered by the destination Morocco, their country," said Adel El Fakir, Director General of the Office, specifying that the initiative is in line with the very High Royal Instructions.
Through "Ntla9awfbladna", the Office confirms its "full mobilization so that the richness of the stay of MREs in their country this summer is up to their expectations, noting that the new ONMT label "Ntla9awfbladna", constitutes an even stronger cry from the heart when it comes to members of the Moroccan community abroad who are returning to the motherland," concludes the same source.
