Morocco Launches Anti-Doping Agency, Set to Begin Testing in National Football League

A few weeks after its establishment, the Moroccan Anti-Doping Agency is preparing to launch its controls within the Botola, the Moroccan football championship.
The arrival of the AMD on the football fields is becoming more concrete. According to the daily Assabah, the roadmap of this agency should respect the law relating to the fight against doping in sport and also the practices of the World Anti-Doping Agency concerning blood sampling and analysis in particular.
During the first day of the national football championship, the AMAD, which enjoys total financial independence, intends to launch the analyzes, monitor the training camps and the concentrations of the national teams.
The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Moroccan Anti-Doping Agency, led by Fatima Abouali, was held in the presence of Othman El Ferdaous, Minister of Youth and Sports. It made it possible to draw up an initial roadmap for 2021.
