Morocco to Launch High-Tech Driver’s Licenses and Vehicle Registrations in 2024

Benacer Boulaajoul, director of the National Road Safety Agency, announced that a new generation of driver’s licenses and vehicle registration certificates would be launched this year, during the first meeting of the board of directors of his organization held in Rabat last week.
A first. According to the explanations of the director of the National Road Safety Agency, all the information related to fines, points or even necessary health checks will be recorded on the new driver’s license produced by Dar Assikah.
As for the electronic vehicle registration certificates, they will contain information on the technical inspections carried out, automobile insurance, etc.
Holders of the old licenses and old registration certificates can, in their case, use them until their expiration.
