Morocco’s King Sends Condolences to Families of Ethiopian Airlines Crash Victims

Messages of condolence and compassion have been addressed by King Mohammed VI to the members of the two families of the victims of the crash of the Ethiopian Airlines plane.
El Hassan Sayouty, a research professor at the University of Hassan II in Casablanca, and Ben Ahmed Chihab, provincial director of the Secretariat of State for Sustainable Development in Darâa-Tafilalet, had died while they were to participate in an international scientific meeting in Nairobi, Kenya.
"In these two messages, the Sovereign expresses to the families of the late His deepest condolences and sincere feelings of compassion following this painful ordeal, the destiny of God being implacable," reports the MAP.
"The King also implores the Most High to bring them patience and comfort, to surround the deceased with His immeasurable forgiveness, to have them in His Holy mercy, to welcome them in His vast paradise and to reward them abundantly for their good deeds," it is specified.
Following this accident, the Moroccan company Royal Air Maroc has decided to suspend flights of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft for "maintenance".
