Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Spotted Vacationing in M’diq with MMA Fighter

King Mohammed VI is enjoying his vacation in M’diq. Photos posted on social media show the Sovereign taking a stroll in a convertible Mercedes.
In the backseat of the luxurious car, just behind Mohammed VI sitting in the passenger seat, appears his faithful companion Yusef Kaddur, the MMA fighter from Melilla.
The athlete had been seen in December 2022, sitting behind the monarch in an SUV, wearing an Atlas Lions jersey, celebrating in the streets of Rabat the victory of the Moroccan team against Spain at the World Cup in Qatar, recalls Vanitatis.
Yusef Kaddur has become close to Mohammed VI thanks to the German-Moroccan Azaitar brothers, also mixed martial arts fighters, who have maintained a privileged relationship with the Moroccan king since April 2018. But Kaddur does not seem to serve as the Sovereign’s bodyguard, the Spanish media rather sees the Melilla athlete as a friend of Mohammed VI.
As in previous years and unless there is a change, Mohammed VI should spend the second part of his summer vacation in Al Hoceima. The Sovereign was spotted on Tuesday in the city of Tangier.
