Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Returns to Paris After Throne Speech

A few hours after his speech delivered on Saturday in Rabat on the occasion of the Throne Feast, Mohammed VI flew back to Paris. This is the fourth trip of the Moroccan monarch this year.
Mohammed VI returned to Paris in the early evening on Saturday, after his speech on the occasion of the Throne Feast which commemorates his enthronement 23 years ago, according to sources close to his trips to Vanitatis. Since the beginning of the year, he has already made three trips abroad. The Moroccan monarch was in the French capital between June 1 and July 9, on the eve of Eid al-Adha in Morocco, and returned there on July 13 until the Throne Feast.
Mohammed VI canceled the Throne Feast festivities. This year, he granted royal pardon to 1,769 prisoners. This is the third time the Moroccan monarch has canceled all celebrations related to this holiday, after 2020 and 2021 when strict health measures were still in effect in the kingdom.
