Morocco Joins 62 Nations at Dubai’s Arabian Travel Market, Largest In-Person Tourism Event Since Pandemic

The 28th International "Arabian Travel Market" is being held from May 16 to 19 in Dubai, with the participation of 62 countries, including Morocco.
This salon has been bringing together 1,300 exhibitors in the travel and tourism sectors in person since Sunday.
According to the organizers, it is the most important tourism and travel event to be organized in person since the appearance of the coronavirus. Its objective is to promote and develop "travel technology" and to share ideas on the latest techniques and orientations that will shape the post-Covid period.
Morocco is not left out of this meeting. It was represented by the CEO of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), Adel El Fakir, accompanied by a delegation of Moroccan operators (hoteliers and travel agents).
A virtual edition of the Arab Travel Market will be held downstream of this edition, from June 1 to 3. According to the organizers, it will be an opportunity to discuss several issues related to future strategies in the tourism sector, to the vision of hoteliers for the post-Covid-19 period.
This virtual edition will also provide an opportunity to strengthen networking between players in the travel industry in the region, by focusing on emerging tourism opportunities and the challenges of the pandemic and its direct impact on the tourism industry.
It should be noted that the Arab travel market represents 220 billion dirhams in transactions.
