Morocco Issues Orange Alert for Heavy Thunderstorms in Multiple Regions

A new alert from the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announces for this Sunday, June 4, 2023 heavy thunderstorms in several Moroccan regions.
In an orange level alert, the DGM indicates that showers of 25 to 40 millimeters will be expected from 1 pm to 12 am in the provinces of Midelt, Figuig, Boulemane, Azilal and Tinghir.
Two similar alerts had already been issued this week for thunderstorms.
