Morocco-Israel Business Meeting Postponed Amid Economic Collaboration Efforts

The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) had announced on May 7 that a meeting between the confederation and Israeli business organizations was to present the key sectors of the Israeli economy, discuss the business climate and investment opportunities. In a tweet, the CGEM announced its postponement without giving details.
Scheduled for May 18, the webinar initiated by the CGEM and Israeli business organizations will not take place. It is through a tweet that the confederation announced its postponement.
This meeting was intended for Moroccan companies interested in the Israeli market. An opportunity to present the key sectors of the Israeli economy, discuss the business climate and investment opportunities, the CGEM had specified.
It is not the first of its kind and is part of the new dynamic of the CGEM which aims to invest in Israel. Moroccan companies and enterprises had been invited to explore business opportunities in Israel.
Since the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the Confederation and its Israeli counterpart, to develop and consolidate economic and commercial relations between the two countries, the CGEM has begun the normalization of relations. It is essentially aimed at the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two parties in areas of common interest, particularly those related to import and export, the development of scientific research, innovation and technology.
