Morocco Houses 3,000 Homeless to Combat COVID-19 Spread

Still in the dynamic of limiting the spread of the coronavirus, 3,000 homeless people are welcomed in social or sports centers. This is what the statistics of the Ministry of Solidarity and Family indicate.

These destitute people, used to living in the utmost destitution, are taken care of by the government. Now housed, they will be able to benefit from hot meals and will be sheltered, in theory, from any contamination with covid-19.

Furthermore, 162 people who were on the street have been returned to their families in order to limit the risks of spreading the virus within this marginalized population.
