Morocco Hosts DR Congo in Crucial World Cup Qualifier Match

"One step separates us from our goal (qualification for the 2022 World Cup), we need you on Tuesday," he posted on his Instagram page. Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou also made the same call. "We expect the support of our audience. The players are eager to play in front of Moroccan supporters. We have the will to show a good level that would allow us to go to the World Cup," he stressed.

For his part, Ilias Chair believes that the result of the first leg is "positive" and that his teammates and him are impatient to play this return match. In the same vein, Nayef Aguerd hailed the efforts of the national team which managed to obtain this draw in the first leg, despite the difficult conditions. "We must complete our mission in the return match on our pitch and in front of our audience, to go to the World Cup in Qatar," he insisted.
