Morocco Faces Crucial World Cup Qualifier Against DR Congo in Casablanca

In Casablanca, next Tuesday, the Atlas Lions must pull out all the stops against the Leopards of Congo, in an attempt to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar, said the national coach.
Vahid Halilhodzic said, after the draw of the national team against the DR Congo (1-1), that this result is positive while warning that the return match will not be easy against a tenacious and solid Congolese team.
"We are not yet qualified [...] a difficult match awaits us in Casablanca against a tough team [...] we are called upon to pull out all the stops to qualify," said the Franco-Bosnian technician.
Regarding the performance of his players in the first leg, the national coach noted that the team started the game well, but the Congolese goal affected the morale of the players, who then lost control of the ball. "I want to congratulate all the players for the comeback they made during the match. But we have a tough battle to fight in Morocco," he concluded.
To recall, the Atlas Lions drew (1-1), against the Leopards of Congo, in the first leg of the World Cup Qatar 2022 play-offs.
