Morocco to Host 7 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier Matches Across 4 Cities

Morocco is once again being solicited to host 7 matches of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) qualifiers, Côte d’Ivoire 2023. The cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech and Agadir are preparing to host these matches.
These matches to be played in Morocco are part of the partnership between the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and several African football federations. Morocco has the infrastructure capable of hosting such sporting events and can help countries whose stadiums are not approved by CAF.
Thus, from March 22 to 28, eight matches will take place at the Mohammed V complex in Casablanca, Moulay El Hassan in Rabat, and the large stadiums in Agadir and Marrakech. The countries concerned are Sierra Leone, Sao Tome, Guinea-Bissau, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Mali. Only Nigeria and Guinea are concerned by the under-23 match.
