Morocco Holds Croatia to Goalless Draw in World Cup Opener

The Atlas Lions secured a 0-0 draw against Croatia in their first World Cup match, showing defensive solidity. For Walid Regragui, "this result is good."
In a post-match statement, the national coach expressed his satisfaction with this score, assuring that the mistakes will be corrected before the next match.
"Honestly, we were facing a good team. They have a very strong midfield. We tried to be in a block, but we may have respected them too much at times. We had some fatigue at the end but it’s a good result," he said.
And he added: "We are still in the race. But it’s a shame, the few opportunities we had, we didn’t capitalize on them. We also made a lot of technical mistakes in midfield. We have 4 days to work and recover now."
Next Sunday, Hakim Ziyech and his teammates will have to show a better face in their second match against Belgium.
