Morocco’s Highway Authority to Deploy Innovative Bridge Installation Technique

In order to carry out this operation, Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) intends to use, for the first time in Morocco, an innovative technology to lift, move and install the new bridge, which has been prefabricated in advance outside the highway.
This unprecedented technique will reduce the duration of the suspension of traffic on the highway, from about 10 days to just a few hours, the time necessary for the transfer of the railway bridge to its final installation location.
Faced with the difficulty of carrying out site visits during this period of health crisis related to covid-19, ADM has shared an "animatic" video that illustrates the steps that will be followed to carry out this operation on the construction site.
