Morocco’s Hakim Ziyech Donates $200,000 to Cancer Patients in Home Country
A donation of two million dirhams would have been recently made in Morocco by Hakim Ziyech and his mother to support people with cancer.
"Reliable sources attest that the Moroccan international and star of Ajax Amsterdam Hakim Ziyech has, he and his mother, donated the sum of 20 million cents, that to the benefit of cancer patients in Morocco," declares the Nadorcity website.
Still according to the same source, the beneficiary of this amount would not have been disclosed but it would probably be one of the Moroccan associations that take care of cancer patients.
This is the second time in less than a month that his charitable activities have been highlighted in the press. The Atlas Lion would have participated in a collection benefiting a former footballer who was the victim of a serious road accident. Ziyech would have also handed over a large sum of money there.
"He told me he wanted to give a little money so I could keep moving forward. Ziyech is not only the best player in the league, he is also a big-hearted player," commented the player who benefited from it, namely Leon de Kogel, who had an accident last summer in Greece.
