Morocco Gets $333,000 in US Contract Supporting F-16 Flight Tests
Morocco appears in a correction published on November 2 by the US Department of Defense. Washington specifies that $333,000 has been allocated to the country under a Lockheed Martin contract related to support for F-16 flight tests.

The information appears in the final lines of the US announcement of November 2. The Pentagon is correcting an October 30 announcement concerning Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, based in Fort Worth, Texas. Three countries are explicitly named: Morocco, Taiwan and Singapore, with $333,000 listed for each.

The correction concerns modification P00035 of contract FA8615-25-F-B001. Awarded to Lockheed Martin, the contract covers support for flight tests of F-16 fighter jets. US contract data compiled by AwardTape indicate a scheduled end date of October 31, 2027.
The announcement comes less than a month after a major milestone for Moroccan military aviation. On October 6, Lockheed Martin announced that the first F-16 Block 72 destined for the Royal Air Forces had made its maiden flight. The aircraft is continuing its tests ahead of delivery to Morocco.
