Morocco’s Football Federation Dismisses National Technical Director Nasser Larguet

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) decided yesterday to end the mission of Nasser Larguet, the National Technical Director, a man who was very close to national coach Hervé Renard.
In a laconic statement, the FRMF indicates that after "studying the audit on the evaluation of the work of the National Technical Directorate (DTN)", it was decided to "end the mission of the National Technical Director, Nasser Larguet" and "restructure the DTN to be in line with the objectives set by the FRMF", without providing details on these objectives assigned to each.
In addition to this decision, the FRMF has decided to "set up a commission of technical experts for the choice of the new National Technical Director and the implementation of the new DTN strategy".
On several occasions in the past, particularly during post-match press conferences, the Atlas Lions coach has taken up the cause of the now former National Technical Director, providing him with unwavering support.
Last July, just after Morocco had finished the World Cup, Hervé Renard had set conditions to remain at the head of the Moroccan national football team, including the retention of Nasser Larguet in his position, which was supposed to end on June 30, 2018. The coach had stated that it was thanks to him that he was in Morocco today.
