Moroccan Fans Call for Ezzalzouli’s Benching in Crucial Olympic Soccer Match Against Iraq

Abdessamad Ezzalzouli is facing criticism on social media after his disappointing performances against Argentina and Ukraine. Moroccan supporters are demanding that the Real Betis striker not be fielded for the decisive match against Iraq scheduled for next Tuesday in Nice, as part of the third and final group stage of the Olympic tournament.
Moroccan supporters are asking coach Tarik Sektioui to line up Ilias Akhomach instead of Abdessamad Ezzalzouli for the match against Iraq. According to them, Ezzalzouli did not make a good impression against Argentina where he came on as a substitute, nor against Ukraine where, as a starter, he delivered a very mediocre performance, failing to create dangerous chances and shake the opposing defense.
Supporters prefer Ilias Akhomach to Ez Abde and are asking Sektioui to bet on the young player in order to strengthen the attack and hope for a victory against Iraq on Tuesday in Nice. In contrast to Ezzalzouli, Akhomach delivered a remarkable performance against Argentina, say the supporters who hope for major changes in the Olympic team that must win their match against Iraq to continue their journey in the Olympic tournament.
With three points each, Morocco, Ukraine, Iraq and Argentina will play all or nothing to secure their ticket to the round of 16, in the third and final group stage. Morocco will face Iraq this Tuesday in Nice, and Argentina will cross swords with Ukraine.
