The two stars of the Moroccan Olympic team, Elies Akhomach (20 years old) and Oussama El Azzouzi (23 years old), are suffering from a muscle injury sustained during the first match of the Atlas Lions against Argentina at the Paris Olympic Games, in Saint-Étienne.
Will Ilias Akhomach (20 years old) and Oussama El Azzouzi (23 years old) miss the match between Morocco and Ukraine scheduled for Saturday, July 27? Substituted due to injury and replaced by their teammates Abdessamad Ezzalzouli (22 years old) and Akram Nakach (22 years old) in the second half of the match against Argentina on Wednesday, at the opening of the football competitions of the Paris Olympic Games, the two stars of the Moroccan team are suffering from a minor muscle injury. The coach of the Moroccan Olympic team, Tarik Sektioui, has asked doctor Christophe Baudot and his assistants to accelerate their preparation, so that they are ready to be fielded for the match against Ukraine. The coach needs them to help the Moroccan team qualify early for the next round. Currently, the players are following a special treatment program.
After beating Argentina (2-1) in the first day of the Olympic football tournament on Wednesday in Saint-Étienne, Morocco will face Ukraine this Saturday, July 27, in an attempt to secure their qualification for the next round. Tarik Sektioui’s protégés will then face Iraq, who defeated Ukraine (2-1), for the third and final day.
