Morocco is having trouble finding suppliers for its request for American durum wheat (an import of 363,000 tons). The call for tenders launched in this regard has been unsuccessful.
The National Interprofessional Office of Cereals and Legumes (ONICL) did not receive any offers to its call for tenders opened on August 6 to import around 363,000 tons of durum wheat of American origin under reduced tariff import quotas, European traders said, adding that the call for tenders was closed last Tuesday.
This call for tenders specifies that shipments should arrive at Moroccan ports before December 31, they also said.
