Morocco Eyes Young Defender Samy Mmaee for National Team Rebuild

The coach of the Atlas Lions is working to build a top team for the resumption of competitions. He is actively prospecting to fill certain positions such as central defense.
Vahid Halilhodzic is keen to "bring new blood to the Atlas Lions", especially since he is faced with the retirement of former captain Mehdi Benatia as well as the "aging of the leaders, such as Romain Saïss, Yunis Abdelhamid or Zouhair Feddal, who have all passed the age of thirty".
According to Football365, the technician would have in his sights "a young Belgo-Moroccan defender playing in the Jupiler League, answering to the name of Samy Mmaee. At 23 years old, he is the author of a "quality season under the colors of Saint-Trond".
