Morocco Extends Flight Ban: Royal Air Maroc Cancels All International Flights Through January

The airline Royal Air Maroc is reacting to the announcement by the Moroccan Directorate General of Civil Aviation to extend the suspension of all passenger flights to and from Morocco until January 31, 2022.

Thus, the airline announces that all flights to and from Morocco (in both directions) are canceled from January 1, 2022 at 00:00, and until January 31, 2022 at 23:59.

As a result, RAM authorizes the change or refund of international transportation tickets for any ticket with an initial travel date between January 1 and January 31, 2022 in these specific cases:

• A free change, subject to availability, from/to the same destination or another destination on the RAM network in the same geographic area (Africa, North America, Europe, Middle East), for a new travel date during the 15 days following the resumption of flights,

• A change, subject to availability, without penalty with application of the fare difference, from/to the same destination or another destination on the RAM network in the same geographic area (Africa, North America, Europe, Middle East), for a new travel date between the 16th day after the date of resumption of flights and October 31, 2022,

• The refund of the ticket in the form of a nominative credit note, non-transferable and non-assignable, valid for 12 months from its date of issue. This credit note is refundable in cash at the end of its validity if not used, and upon request by the Customer three (3) months at the latest after its expiry. The Customer is required to contact his initial point of sale to request his credit note, during the validity period of his ticket.
• Cash refund at the initial point of sale. The Customer is required to contact his initial point of sale to request his refund, during the validity period of his ticket. It should be noted that this option requires a longer processing time.
