Morocco Expands Marhaba Operation with New Facility in Southern Spain

A new reception site dedicated to the Marhaba operation of Moroccans living abroad is currently under construction in Algeciras, in southern Spain.
Indeed, this construction site was visited on Friday by a Moroccan delegation led by the Delegate Minister in charge of Public Service Reform and Administration, Mohamed Benabdelkader, the Moroccan Ambassador to Spain, Karima Benyaich, and the Consul General of the Kingdom in Algeciras, Abdelfattah Lebbar, as well as Spanish officials, reports the MAP.
"This project consists of the construction of new facilities for the representatives of the various support and support institutions of the Marhaba Operation, in particular the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, the Moroccan Consulate General in Algeciras, the Spanish Civil Protection and the Andalusian Health Service," explains the new President of the Port Authority of Algeciras, Gerardo Landaluce Calleja, to the same source.
Scheduled for the next phase of the Marhaba operation, i.e. next June, these institutions "are part of the system of social and medical assistance" and support for Moroccans living abroad.
The visit to this construction site comes just after the inauguration of the new Moroccan consulate in Algeciras.
