Morocco Expands Flight Ban to 26 Countries Amid COVID Variant Concerns

Faced with the worrying spread of coronavirus variants, Morocco has decided to suspend air links with Poland, Norway, Finland, Greece, Lebanon, and Kuwait. This decision came into effect at midnight on March 8.
The suspension of flights with these six countries will run until March 21, 2021, the National Airports Office (ONDA) said. Passengers coming from these countries through another country are also affected by this decision.
The list of countries with which Morocco has suspended flights in order to fight the new variants of the coronavirus now stands at 26. These countries are: Turkey, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Sweden, Australia, Brazil, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Denmark, South Africa, Belgium, Italy, Algeria, Egypt, Poland, Norway, Finland, Greece, Lebanon and Kuwait. This list is evaluated every 15 days.
