Morocco Expands Domestic Air Routes to Boost Northern Tourism

As part of the strengthening of internal air connectivity, the Regional Council of the North has obtained from airlines the imminent resumption of several routes, to boost tourism in the region.
A first agreement signed with Royal Air Maroc will allow the company to continue its flights between the cities of Tangier and Al Hoceima, starting December 6, according to a press release from the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Council.
Thus, RAM will operate two weekly flights between the two cities of Tangier and Tetouan, more precisely on Mondays and Wednesdays, as part of the strengthening of internal air connectivity.
"This air link will help promote domestic tourism between the two cities and facilitate travel for a wide category of people at affordable prices," the council said.
Similarly, two other agreements have been approved with the airline Air Arabia and the ministries concerned, to contribute to the improvement of the air connectivity of Tangier with Nador on the one hand and Agadir on the other.
