Morocco Expands Air Travel: 14 New Routes to Boost Tourism from Europe

The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) is preparing to launch 14 new air routes next winter. In charge, the airlines Easyjet, Ryanair, Transavia, Volotea and Air arabia.
In detail, each airline will operate a certain number of flights.
Thus, Easyjet will launch 6 new routes to Tangier and Agadir. These are Nantes-Tangier, with 2 weekly frequencies, Nantes-Agadir, for 2 frequencies, Nice-Tangier, with 2 also, Nice-Agadir, for 2, Toulouse-Agadir, with 3 frequencies and Lyon-Tangier, with 2.
As for the Irish company, Ryanair, it will be responsible for launching the Toulouse-Tangier routes for 2 frequencies per week, Toulouse-Oujda, with 2, Bordeaux-Nador, for 2 and Marseille-Essaouira, also with 2 frequencies.
The French company, Transavia, will launch, starting November 7th, a direct air link between Paris-Orly and Ouarzazate, with two flights per week. This new line will bring to 11 the number of Moroccan destinations served by Transavia.
The launch of the Strasbourg-Marrakech lines, for 2 weekly frequencies and Nantes-Tangier, with 2 more, was entrusted to the Spanish company, Volotea.
The last airline, Air arabia, will launch the Lyon-Tangier line, with 2 flights per week.
All these flights will be subsidized, assures the ONMT.
