Morocco Emerges as Mediterranean’s 4th Strongest Naval Power, Outranking France and Spain
According to the GFP website, specialized in military affairs, the Kingdom of Morocco has the fourth largest naval power in the Mediterranean basin, surpassing Algeria, Spain and even France.
With over 300 naval components, the Egyptian navy is in first place among Mediterranean countries, followed by Turkey with 194 maritime components.
The Royal Navy occupies fourth place with 121 components, surpassing France and its 118 pieces and closely following Italy which has 143 naval pieces. In addition, Algeria comes in seventh position with only 85 components.
In terms of submarines, Turkey is in pole position with 12 units, followed by Greece with 11, France with 10, Italy with 8, Algeria with 6 and Egypt with 4 submersibles.
