Morocco Edges Côte d’Ivoire 1-0, Advances in Africa Cup of Nations

The Moroccans won tonight against the Côte d’Ivoire team with a score of 1 goal to 0 and take a step towards the round of 16.

The only goal of the match was scored in the first half by Youssef En-Nesyri in the 23rd minute of play, following a superb individual action by Nordin Amrabat, probably one of the best players in this match.

With this match won, Morocco takes the lead in Group D and qualifies at the same time for the 8th finals of this Africa Cup of Nations organized in Egypt.

Morocco’s next match is scheduled for Monday, July 1 against the South African team.
