Amrabat Shines as Morocco Edges Côte d’Ivoire 1-0 in Africa Cup of Nations

Nordin Amrabat was again impressive yesterday, Friday, June 28, 2019, during the match between the Moroccan team and the Côte d’Ivoire team, for the second day of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN).
The player was named "Man of the Match" at the end of the match, following his performance during the match that saw Morocco win 1-0 and advance to the round of 16.
Moroccan supporters did, however, get a little scare for the player, after an opponent hit him on the head. Everyone remembers that the player had to leave the field last year, during the World Cup in Russia, following a fall.
Wanting to spare Amrabat, the coach of the "Atlas Lions", Hervé Renard, replaced him at the end of the game with Noussair Mazraoui.
Next match for the "Atlas Lions", Monday, July 1, 2019 at 6pm, against the South African team.
