Morocco Drops PCR Test Requirements for Entry and Exit, Easing Travel Restrictions

On Tuesday, May 17, Morocco canceled the PCR test requirement to enter its territory. It also does not require a PCR test to leave the country.
In addition to the lifting of the PCR test before departure for vaccinated travelers, the PCR is no longer required to leave Moroccan territory, reports Le Desk. It is therefore up to travelers to check with the destination countries as well as with the airlines at boarding.
On Tuesday, the Moroccan government decided to lift the PCR test requirement for entry into the national territory. "This decision was made on the basis of the legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency and the improvement of the epidemiological situation in Morocco," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad said in a post on Twitter. A decision long demanded by tourism professionals.
