Morocco’s Driouch Province Hit by Two 4.3+ Magnitude Earthquakes, Fifth in Two Weeks

The National Institute of Geophysics (ING) announced that two seismic shocks of magnitude 4.3 and 4.4 on the Richter scale shook Driouch this Sunday. In total, five earthquakes were recorded in the space of two weeks in the province.
The wake-up call was once again disturbed for the residents of Driouch. Two new earthquakes were recorded in the province. The shocks, whose epicenter is located off the coast of the province of Driouch, occurred respectively at 07:18:39 and 07:42:39 (GMT+1), specified the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING in a seismic alert bulletin.
The first shock felt is at a depth of 12 km, at a latitude of 35.585°N and a longitude of 3.584°W. As for the second shock, it is at a depth of 23 km, at a latitude of 35.553°N and a longitude of 3.561°W.
